You Can't Always Get What You Want

Banks and I went to church this morning, and the topic of the sermon "In God's time." Incredibly appropriate and really hit home, I was starting to get a little antsy about waiting again.

It was exactly what I needed to hear to be at peace, really at peace, with waiting till January. I just kept wondering and worrying but I feel like we're meant to wait until January and that I just need to be patient and have faith.

I feel so much better about it all now. So I feel good about having our consult in January, and cycling asap after that. I really hope it doesn't take more than 3 months, but I just have to relax and go along for the ride I guess!

You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes
well you just might find
You get what you need

Don't you just love it when you go to church and it seems like the pastor is only talking to you! It always blows my mind to think that God just knows what we need to hear! I'm glad that you're at peace and just remember, you'll be cycling before you know it! I can't believe it's already August! WOW! Thinking about you often! Many prayers,

Sometimes the truly greatest moments happen in church. Some days, when I have been at my lowest the Gospel for that particular Sunday freaks the heck out of me. It was as if God Himself was speaking to me.
DH and I were talking today about how things really do happen when they should. Of course, it's usually not on my timeline but in the end it all falls into place. I have way too many personal examples of how this happens over and over again and yet I still become frustrated when things don't pan out the way I envisioned. Key word here is "I."
Jojobee is right- August is almost half over already! January will be here before you know it!!!
